Once upon a time (aka 2006) in my few month span as a Silver Medallion on Delta,, I didn't miss a single upgrade. Then I moved up to a Gold Medallion,, then shortly thereafter a Platinum. I only missed a handful of upgrades in 5 years.
Fast forward to Post Merger Delta,,, and here is how i'm looking on a SATURDAY MORNING flight
I am definitely not holding my breath on getting that upgrade. In a month and a half when I drop down to Silver again i'm betting i'll never see a First Class seat. I wouldn't mind it,, but I also missed both upgrades on my last two flights as well.
What the hell. I don't like coach!
